The moon as a light source.
Searching for something that is just a little different.
Photography consists of light and dark. Using light source as a gentle touch can really give your images some atmosphere.
It was a early rise of a full moon, I was up high in the mountains of Lamington national park in south east Queensland the fog was rising at the end of the day after a day of heavy rain. Sunset has finished and it was chill time before heading home. As I was cutting up the cheese to have with some crackers the tops of the trees lit up with the light from the moon. Ah Huh the day was not over just yet.
Out with all the kit, I decided not to use filters and polarisers as it was dark, manual focusing was a little difficult, I used a torch to spot my tree and focus with the live preview at 10x magnification.
The paddock lit up and the fog was still lingering in the valley oh so pretty.
